When President Roosevelt took office, the odds were stacked against him almost immediately. This was due to Roosevelt having to take on the task of getting America out of the Depression that It plunged into during the Herbert Hoover administration. The Great Depression happened through a myriad of events that ranged from bank failures to the stock market crashing multiple times in a short amount of time. The nation s economy was in turmoil and unemployment and poverty were at an all-time high and something had to be done to stop this economic free-fall. FDR and his political cabinet called the ââ¬Å"Brain Trustâ⬠decided to take the Great Depression head on with a policy that included many reforms and an aggressive approach to unemployment. This policy would be known as the New Deal. The New Deals main goal was to help to end the Great Depression, FDR figured that the best way to do this would be to have the government be more hands on in the fight against the Great Depression . The approach of the New Deal was based on the government being more active and hands on, this lead to some individuals and factions to oppose his New Deal for various reasons . Does belonging mean compromise? If you donââ¬â¢t belong does that mean youââ¬â¢re secluded? In the wake of the high-speed social and sexual identity progress, there is accumulating evidence that the knowledge of sexual identities has changed. Putting a label on your sexual identity such as gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual didnââ¬â¢t exist, so where did you belong? Writers such as Whitman and Wilde, both denied being apart of any specific minority sexual identity at the time. Throughout the first half of the twentieth century there was no such thing as equal rights for sexual identities. Especially ones you couldnââ¬â¢t or refused to classify yourself with, like people can today. So what has changed over time? Sometimes I learnt it the hard way, but it was a lesson well learnt. I have realized that in family situations and at my work place whenever I was faced with a difficult situation and I choose to be angry or arrogant, I was not able to achieve the desired results. People respond better to love and compassion as compared to criticism. I learnt that when I changed my attitude in situations in which I otherwise used to be angry or proud to one where I was humble, I got better results! We have to try not to let our achievements in life get to our heads. I met with a time in my life when everything was falling apart my work, my health and my personal life and I had nothing but my attitude to blame for it. I considered my small achievements as big, people were doing much more work than I was and keeping silent about it. Their humility was giving them the necessary cover and capacity to do better while I was collapsing under the weight of my attitude. But only when you reach your lowest point can you rise back up. I hit an all time low, met with an accident, and was laid up in bed for 9 months. This forced rest gave me the opportunity to ponder over my life. Life taught me the best lesson I have learnt the hardest way. I was left at the mercy of others, I could not walk or move without help. This helplessness broke my pride to bits. In these 9 months in bed, I realized that my attitude of pride has given me nothing but anger and failure. When I got back onto my feet, I slowly started to change my ways. As they say ââ¬Ëcharity begins at homeââ¬â¢ I started by changing my attitude towards my family and friends. I became more forgiving and adopted an Attitude of Gratitude towards daily things. Seeing my changed attitude my family changed their attitude towards me. Difficult situations became easier and life started to seem easy. As I saw a change in family situations I realized how this could change troubled situations at work as well. I started by being more soft spoken and humble towards people at work ââ¬â my employees and my clients of course. Even when I saw a difficult situation I did not act on impulse and on success I was not proud. I tried to look at every achievement as a stepping stone towards more and kept my calm. The frequency of my achievements grew considerably and I was able to think better with a sound mind. This new found clarity gave me immense satisfaction and peace of mind. Society has to realize that the modern family has developed into many different forms in recent years in that the nuclear family is not necessarily the most common form anymore. Then I will attempt to analyze the Con side which expresses the fact that two people of the same sex should not be raising and rearing children together. Many believe that if the couple is unable to produce children together, then they shouldnt be raising them as parents. Children need a balance in their lives and different sexed parents can provide that balance efficiently. Each parent (mom or dad) socializes the child differently and the child needs to be introduced to both worlds. I will then proceed to critique both sides on strengths and weaknesses, based on facts, studies, and my own opinion, and then draw some of my own conclusions on this controversial topic of Gay Parenting. Pro Position There is no valid reason for refusing to call lesbian and gay headed household families. They fall under every conceivable criterion for identifying families and the concept of a Family. They are groups of coresident kin providing jointly through income-pooling for eachothers need of food and shelter. They socialize children, engage in emotional and physical support, and make up part of a larger kin network. (O Brien and Weir, 128). There are also many homophobic ( the irrational fear or hatred of homosexuality or gay people, Biery 88) individuals in todays society who are the main cause of negative stereotypes against lesbians and gay parents. These negative stereotypes all prove to be untrue and irrational, revealing that gay and lesbian parents could be equally as fit to straight parents. The accusation that majority of gay men are child molesters has been rejected in that the overwhelming majority of child sexual abusers area heterosexual men, who abuse both boys and girls. The fear that children of lesbian and gay parents will become lesbian or gay is irrational in that studies show that the sexual orientation of the parents has no effect whatsoever on sexual orientation of youths. The concern that the children of gay and lesbian headed families will not develop so called appropriate gender identity or gender behaviour has been introduced. This was proved incorrect in that when comparing children of gay parents to children of straight parents, there was no significant difference in these two areas. The last stereotype involving the fear that emotional damage will effect the child due to coping with the issue of having lesbian or gay parents. Once again this was proved to be false and the general psychological well being of children in gay and lesbian households matches that of children of heterosexual parent households. (O Brien and Weir, 129). These common stereotypes heard frequently in todays society have all been proved incorrect and ignorant. Therefore they illustrate that gay and lesbian parents are continually stereotyped against unfairly and unjustly. Lesbians and gay men are popularly and commonly thought of by society to have a negative influence on children. This places an enormous strain and great pressure on lesbian and gay headed families, which is totally unnecessary. When we assume male-headed nuclear families to be central units of kinship, and all alternative patterns to be extensions or exceptions, we accept as aspect of cultural hegemony instead of studying it. Adversity Essay Because a person could go straight to hell for committing such a bad sin than why should America cater to such a horrible thing? Just because its common to see a gay couple does not make it right. .

As per example during Christmas season, Tesco merchandises several gifts, cards, and cakes for the customers (Chan, Choi Ho, 2016). It needs to have a concrete planning to store the products in its inventory through understanding and estimating the critical sales period. The inventory should be managed in such a way that products and edibles dont get spoiled and also meets up the regular demand for it. Failure in Keeping Tracks Another major issue faced by the MNSs inventory management is in the failure of keeping track of the inventories. It is the responsibility of the inventory manager to keep track the incoming and outgoing inventories along with the keeping tracks of the perishable food items. A visual and computerized inspection of the products needs to be kept on a daily basis in the MNCs like Tesco for keeping and maintaining a track for the inventories (Disney et al. 2016). If the inventory manager fails to do so, the food items may get expired and poisoned due to crossing the time-period of storage and the inventories may be full of products those have very low selling proportion. Unnecessary Buying The MNCs like Tesco have to maintain and manage the inventory and warehouse of the organization. It is because; a failure in managing the inventory may lead to excessive buying of the raw materials and finished products. With the changing market environment, Tesco has to keep pace with the changing and dynamic purchasing behavior of the customers. A bulk buying of the products may lead to a loss to Tesco if the products remain unsold (Gandhi et al. 2017). It, therefore, may cause a loss to Tesco when these products are sold at huge discounted prices. In the case of food items, the entire food inventory has to be thrown out by Tesco buying these in bulk quantities. Failure in Keeping Pace with the Trends The business environment is a dynamic one and the customers wants and desires changes frequently. Tesco has to keep pace with this changing environment. The issue or problem in Tesco arises when the inventory manager fails to understand the changing market and buys products in bulks (Govindan et al. 2015). It may lead to a huge loss to Tesco due to the inventory managers failure in keeping pace with the changing trends of the patrons. Failure in Monitoring Vendors The vendors and suppliers will try to send raw materials and products of bad quality at the best premium prices. An issue arises when the inventory manager fails to monitor the vendors and their products those are getting supplied to Tesco warehouses (Hbner, Kuhn Wollenburg, 2016). The inventory managers failure in the inspection of both the quality and quantity of the products sent by the vendors may cause a failure to the MNCs like Tesco. It also hampers the brand name and reputation of the organization. Gaps in the Literature Review Lack of Time The lack of time is one of the major problems that led to the gaps in the literature review. Due to time constraint, the researcher was not able to understand the problems faced by the inventory managers of Tesco (Adams et al. 2016). A lack of face to face interviews with them also made the problem in understanding the difficulties they had to face while managing the inventory in recent times. Lack of Budget Due to lack of budget, the researcher had to stick to secondary research and had to take the opinions of the other researchers. Due to lack of budget, the researcher was unable to conduct any personal interactions with the inventory managers of Tesco. Hence, there are chances of biased research (Nolan Garavan, 2016). Communication Gap The lack of communication between the market research team, inventory managers, and the higher officials create problems in Tesco. Several conflicts arise due to the lack of misunderstanding among the employees due to understanding the trend, planning and keeping track to the inventories. Conflicts may arise when the inventories get over-stocked with some items those have less demand and under-stocked with items that have high demand (Cumberland et al. 2016). Biases of the Inventory Managers The biases of the inventory managers towards some vendors many create a problem in Tesco. The biases create conflicts when the suppliers supply low-quality raw materials and charge the premium price for it (Tate et al. 2014). Moreover, the inventory manager may also show biases to the suppliers when they fail to supply the products within given time. At that time, the suppliers provide the managers with some gifts to gain their biased side. Gantt Chart Scheduling The Gantt chart shows the improvement of the inventory managers in their respective work. These improvements help in reducing the gaps in their work and improve the effectiveness of the work (Wood, Coe Wrigley, 2016). Moreover, with better inventory management and approach, the inventory managers help in improving the workflow of the organization.
